Food for Kids

What do kids want to eat? What should they be eating? What would they come up with if we asked kids to develop their own food? So how do we make sure that they are having a nutritionally well balanced diet that they will actually enjoy? The best way to answer this question is to speak to children themselves, which is one of the unique aspects of this event. Together with the Consumer Knowledge Centre, who works with children in product development projects internationally, the event will showcase what makes children of today tick when it comes to healthy food. In an interactive session a group of children will be given the task of developing healthy foods, and the children themselves will present their results. They will present some of their ideas and thoughts on things that are important to them about foods and beverages, but also about their lives. This will be followed by a Q&A session, facilitated by Bryan Urbick, to address any specific questions you may have. During the day you will also learn about new marketing rules for children's food, hear about successful products on the market and listen to exciting technical advances for food for kids. This one day conference will help you to understand what drives choice in children and learn how you can use this knowledge to develop products that are successful, as well as healthy, exciting and fun! The programme will look at:
