Vitamins and Minerals

Food companies need accurate data on the concentration of vitamins added as fortificants not only to meet regulatory and consumer requirements for package labelling, but also to closely control vitamin dosage in production to minimise waste.

We have an long established UKAS-accredited vitamin testing service which uses a combination of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and the latest biosensor technology, significantly improving the accuracy and consistency offered previously by microbiological techniques.

• Vitamins by HPLC  - B1, B2, B6, niacin, C, E, D and A
• Vitamins by Biosensor - B12, folic acid, biotin and pantothenic acid.
