12th Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium

The Pangborn Symposium offers a valuable opportunity for leading pioneers and emerging experts within the field of sensory and consumer science to come together, connect and participate. Conference topics include: new & emerging sensory & consumer methods, sensory testing in children, historical perspectives, food choice & consumer behaviour and many more.

Leatherhead’s Cindy Beeren, VP Operations and Silvia Peleteiro, Consumer, Sensory & Market Insight Projects Manager will be attending the event.

We’re currently researching the potential of immersive technologies in consumer research and will be demonstrating our new virtual reality set at our exhibition stand. Be sure to stop by to say hello to Cindy and Silvia as well as experience an immersive environment!

In addition, on the 21 August, Cindy will be chairing Session 2: Consumer Behaviour between 10:50 and 12:30 and Silvia will be chairing Session 3: Testing Methods from 14:15 to 15:45. 

Silvia will also be delivering two presentations titled ‘What are the benefits of immersive technologies vs central location tests and home use tests?’ and ‘What is R-Index? A case study with consumers comparing R-Index from ranked data vs hedonic R-Index’. Join Silvia during Poster Session 2 on 23rd August between 16:00-18:00.
