This year, Eurosense will focus on 'A Sense of Taste', paying specific attention to individual differences in sensory perception, liking, preference, choice and behaviour.
It has long been known that context has an impact on consumer perception and the use of our VR environments allows us to begin to explore this. We can begin to quantify how these environments impact consumer behaviour and response to products: our research has shown that overall liking, emotional disposition and purchase intent can all be influenced by context.
These insights add further depth to conventional research, enhancing decision making for NPD or product positioning strategies. For example, to support decision making on recipe development and packaging options for products during different seasons.
