IFST Fibre event: The rough with the smooth

Hosted by the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST), this interactive event promises to bring together a panel of experts to explore various regulatory, health and food formulation issues related to fibre in our diet.
This event will take up the following challenges:
- Defining fibre
- Regulatory issues/claims
- Dietary value of different forms of fibre
- Formulating fibre into foods
Leatherhead’s Jenny Arthur, Head of Nutrition and Product Development, will be delivering a presentation on ‘The evolution of defining fibre’ and will look at the different methods of fibre analysis, the regulatory implications and the effect on calories.
