The inaugural Calorie Reduction Summit provides a vital and timely forum to bring together industry, out-of-home and on-the-go, academia, policymakers and public health to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by developments in nutrition policy, examine the science and evidence around calorie reduction and portion control and discuss what further steps are needed.   

Speakers include: Jenny Arthur, Leatherhead’s Head of Nutrition & Product Development, Sharon Hodgson, Shadow Minister for Public Health, Department of Health, PHE, British Nutrition Foundation, Euromonitor and Kerry Nutrition. The Summit will also include a dedicated science and evidence section with Prof Peter Rogers, University of Bristol, Dr Eric Robinson, University of Liverpool and Prof Theresa Marteau University of Cambridge presenting the latest studies on portion size, energy intake, satiation and Cochrane reviews on efficacy of calorie reduction interventions.
