Regulatory Considerations for Personalised Nutrition
Date: 20 April, 2023
Time: 14:00 – 14:45 (BST)
Chaired by Senior Membership Manager, Leon Cook and delivered by Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Consultant, Johanna Bolinder, you will gain an insight into this developing area of personalised nutrition.
Personalised nutrition is pushing the boundaries of innovation, trying to reach more consumers, and it is attracting the interest of industry and researchers alike.
Traditionally, nutrition advice has been given based on large population groups, deemed at times as vague and not resonating with the majority of consumers. Advances in nutrition have now opened the field of personalised nutrition to a more tailored approach of reaching consumers.
As this is an emerging trend, it is important to understand the regulatory hurdles that are linked to personalised nutrition. The current EU regulatory framework is somewhat fragmented when it comes to developing personalised nutrition innovations, and this webinar is meant to inform of those challenges as well as opportunities.
