Overview

As Content Writer & Senior Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing our brand visibility, generating leads and contributing to business growth. Collaboration with teams across the UK, Europe and the US is integral to align efforts towards shared objectives.

The position is based at either of our UK offices in Epsom or Knaresborough, with occasional travel as required.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including leaflets and brochures, case studies, white papers, website content, and thought leadership articles, maintaining a consistent brand voice
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, to boost brand visibility and generate qualified leads, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and deliver engaging content, such as webinars, podcasts, videos, and blog posts, showcasing expertise and thought leadership
  • Support the planning and logistics of industry events, conferences, and webinars, managing registrations and coordinating with vendors
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media partners to optimize campaigns and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Utilize marketing analytics and reporting tools to monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English or other essay-based subject. CIM certificate qualification an advantage
  • Two to three years of proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the scientific, regulatory, chemical or food and beverage industries
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, LinkedIn, email marketing, and content marketing, with a track record of driving successful campaigns
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and communicate complex scientific and regulatory concepts effectively
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns end-to-end, including planning, budgeting, execution, and performance tracking
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot), content management systems (e.g., WordPress), design packages (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva), and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Skilled in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
  • Proactive and creative mindset, with a genuine curiosity for the food & beverage and/or chemical market sectors
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
