Chris Wells, MD, Leatherhead retires

Chris Wells is retiring after almost five years with Leatherhead Food Research following a distinguished career in the food & beverage industry, including strategic positions at Pizza Hut and Sainsbury’s. Chris was instrumental in the integration of Leatherhead into Science Group post its acquisition in 2015 and he has been a big component of the success of the business. He leaves with our very best wishes for his retirement.

Joining Leatherhead as VP Business Development is Erica Sheward. Erica is an internationally renowned expert in Food Safety Management and International Food Law compliance. Most recently she was a member of the board of trustees and chair of the membership committee at the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST). Erica joins the leadership team alongside Cindy Beeren, Group VP Operations, and Mark Butcher, Commercial Director. We are delighted to welcome Erica on board.
